19 Montrose condos set for auction

A collection of 19 condominiums in Montrose will go on the auction block Dec. 12.

The contemporary residences previously priced from $189,900 to $469,900 have starting bids ranging from $75,000 to $200,000. Residences have one to three bedrooms, and range in size from approximately 1,000 square feet to 2,000 square feet.

The condos are located at 510 Lovett, former home of Houston hard rock radio station, KLOL-FM. The four-story residential building includes private balconies and a rooftop deck with views of the downtown skyline.

The sale will be conducted at the downtown Hilton Americas-Houston by auction company Kennedy Wilson of Beverly Hills, Calif. Bidders are asked to arrive at 12 noon for the 1 p.m. auction.

MetLife Home Loans will have financing options available.

Kennedy Wilson will be conduct a seminar at 1 p.m. on Dec. 5 on how to buy a property at an auction. The seminar will take place at 510 Lovett.

Potential buyers should be aware that an undisclosed minimum sales price is likely attached to each unit. Typically the reserve price must be reached before a sale can occur.
