Usually the first people to buy into a condo building get the best deals. In the case of Palisade Palms, the bargains may be coming on the backside.

Twenty-seven beachfront condos in the luxury Galveston development are being auctioned off next month.

Starting bids will range from $125,000 to $375,000 for the units, which were previously priced at $299,000 to $1.35 million according to Kennedy Wilson, which will conduct the sale on June 6.

The 27 condos range from 1,044 to 2,767 square feet and include four penthouses.

Palisade Palms is a twin 27-story tower real estate development on Galveston’s East Beach built by the Falcon Group.

The auction will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 6 at the Omni Houston Galleria.
