CIM Group’s Hancock Lofts Headed to Auction

Here’s your auction, WeHo. Fourteen of the 31 units at Hancock Lofts, that Koning Eizenberg-designed condo building on Santa Monica Blvd, will be available for auction on April 25th. Is anyone surprised that this building is headed to the auction? No, they are not. Run by auction company Kennedy Wilson, the auction will offer starting bids in the range of $395,000-$595,000. The remaining units will be available for sale, according to CIM principal John Given, and there’s no 50 percent “move-in” rule, so you could presumably buy your condo, pick up a salad at Tender Greens and move right in after you finally close. And they’ve created a whole new web site for the auction.
